About Mrs. Noelle Bordelon
About me
I live in Hammond with my husband, Hart, and two children, Andrew (2nd grade) and Holly Beth (kindergarten). We spend the majority of our free time traveling and spending time outdoors. We have two Laborador Retrievers, Hershey (9 years old) and Nestle (7 years old). We also have two cats that we rescued, Hide and Seek and Wally. Our animals are an important part of our life!
Hobbies
I love to travel. I have traveled to about 60 countries. I love to experience the many different cultures of each country. This past summer, I took my children to Honduras. We had a wonderful time on their first trip to a new country.
I also love to be outside. I love to exercise. You might have seen me walking Hershey and Nestle around campus. I also enjoy working in my yard. This summer, my family had a backyard garden. For our first garden, I think we did a great job! We had fun picking our cantelopes, purple hull peas, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, and many other vegetables.
We also enjoy spending time with our family and friends!
I have been teaching for 10 years. This is my second year at SLU Lab School. Before I began teaching here, I decided to be a stay-at-home mom for six years. I received my Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Northeast Louisiana University. I received my Master of Education degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Special Education with a speciality in Early Childhood. I am currently completing my +30 from Southeastern.
